  • Edgar Gabriel's String Fusion's "Not Radio Material"
Edgar Gabriel's String Fusion's "Not Radio Material"
Edgar Gabriel's StringFusion® is an exciting new jazz fusion ensemble from Chicago. With former Cirque du Soleil electric violinist Edgar Gabriel at the helm, this group fuses elements of rock, classical and world music into its intelligent entertaining character.

While StringFusion has plenty of original material, they also play the great music of Jean-Luc Ponty, Frank Zappa, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Cirque du Soleil and much more.

The improvisations of Edgar along with Maurice Houston (Bass), Steve Doyle (Guitar), Kevin O'Connell (Keyboards), Inderjeet Sidhu (Drums/Tabla), Sarah Alexander (Cello) and Michael Levin (Saxophone/Flute/ Clarinet), are combined with elements of jazz, funk, rock, fiddle Indian ragas, and classical music to rival any jam band.

If you want to hear innovative music highlighted by a jazz/rock/fiddler/classical violinist who has worked with some of the greatest musicians in the world such as Robert Plant and Jimmy Page, Daniel Barenboim, Andrea Bocelli, Ray Charles, The Flock and Cheap Trick, StringFusion is the band you must see.
